How to download popular health magazines for free
Last month, I was chatting with my brother, Nicholas, who happened to mention that he was downloading a slew of magazines for his upcoming vacation. He asked if I was interested in this opportunity. I told him of course I was, and I asked him how much it would cost me. He told me it was at NO CHARGE.
The secret turned out to be lurking in our very own wonderful city of Toronto: The Toronto Public Library
Individuals holding a Toronto Public Library card can access online over 200 magazines such as:
- Men’s Health
- Women’s Health
- Runner’s World
- Natural Health
Other popular magazines such as National Geographic, Canadian Living, and The Economist are also available.
What makes this a great find is that you have access to current and previous issues of each magazine. Once you downloaded the magazine, you can keep that issue until you choose to delete it — that’s right, no return date and no more late fees!
I wanted to share this tidbit with our Satori community to ensure they have easy access to health information and other news at their fingertips.
To access the collection of magazines, you’ll need the following:
- A Toronto Public Library card
- Software: You can download the app to your PC or tablet. All major platforms supported
The Toronto Public Library has created easy-to-follow instructions to access its magazine collection. If you have any trouble, drop me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and I’ll see what I can do to help you.
Read more about how to get the software and start reading those magazines by clicking here — which will re-direct you to the Toronto Public Library website.
Glad to see that Torontonians have access to this wonderful feature — courtesy of the Toronto Public Library.
Please spread the word about this great find to others in your network.
Wishing you good health and good fortune for 2014!
