Valerie’s passion for alternative care developed over 12 years of figure skating, biking, and cross country running, which gave her a great understanding of how the body works and feels under different stresses. Treatment and prevention of injuries has been an ongoing focus for Val with self-care management and various alternative therapies. She moved to Peterborough at the age of 18 to pursue the rehabilitation assistant program, after completion, she was inspired to continue in the realm of healing and completed the 3 year massage therapy program. Val then moved to Toronto to start building her practice and has stayed in the Yorkville neighborhood for the past 12 years. She also assisted in the development and management of Satori and continues to be proud of its dedication to superior treatment. Val has a genuine concern for each client, and the ability to tailor her treatments with a well thought out flexible plan. Home care, and additional collaborative therapies, are also given and suggested as needed. The love for her career is evident in her treatments.
