In 2006, Colleen began her career in body work as the first Canadian to study The Grinberg Method in Switzerland. She is a Level 1 practitioner.
The Grinberg Method, widespread in Europe and Israel, aims to reduce and even eliminate physical pain and discomfort by exploring and then changing patterns and habits which result in imbalances in the body. Something like bad posture from sitting hunched over a computer all day. Colleen draws upon this experience and a mindful approach to her practice. “Paying attention”, to the body is the first step to participating in the healing process.
Back in Canada, she embarked on her new career as a Registered Massage Therapist, constantly learning and bringing an abundance of health knowledge into her practice. Colleen is motivated to help her clients achieve long term wellness.
Mindful Healing Massage.
A compilation of a lifetime of learning about health and well being, and a tickle trunk full of goodies to implement into each unique treatment experience, guided by the needs of each and every one of her client’s.
