Chantale discovered osteopathy when she received treatment from a colleague, and was immediately taken with its philosophy and efficiency. She graduated in 2002 after successfully defending her thesis titled “The Cerebral Ventricles: A Unit of Function.”
To enhance her knowledge and skills, Chantale obtained a second degree in osteopathy, and has continued her education by completing the basic program of biodynamics developed by Dr. James Jealous, in addition to several other professional development seminars. Increasing her knowledge base in osteopathic health care has fuelled her desire to further strengthen her expertise.
Since 2003, Chantale has been very active in the promotion and recognition of osteopathy throughout Canada and abroad: as a board member of Ostéopathie Québec (formerly Association des Ostéopathes du Québec) and the Canadian Federation of Osteopaths. From 2007 to 2011, Chantale taught cranial osteopathy at the Sutherland Academy in Montreal, Toronto, and Marseille, France.
Chantale currently works in Montreal and Toronto.
Chantale’s practice is diverse: her clients range from newborns to elderly. She chose a global approach from the start, using a wide variety of tools to better meet the needs of her clients.
